day 5 in foster
so i've been here for five days. the lady says that i'm settling in very well! she doesn't even keep me in my kennel any longer during the day when she goes to work because i like to play with my other dog friends so much. it also lets me use the doggie door to go outside when i need to! the family is very proud of me because i haven't had one accident since i've first gotten here. i'm told i'm pretty clumsy. i think that sums it up! i'm so big that when i run around, i can knock stuff over! the family thinks it's pretty funny. one thing that i love to do is play fetch! the lady has gotten me lots of tennis balls to throw & i run & run when she thows them. i bring them back to her & when she says drop it, i do! it's a great game to play & sometimes my dog friends will play with me. this family has been taking such good care of me. i had fallen into a cactus right before the first time i went to the shelter. the people at the shelter tried to take all the needles out of my body. i had so many. when the lady would walk me, she could still feel so many on me. it made her sad & they did still hurt. after i came back the second time, the lady could still feel cactus needles on my body. after the lady & man brought me home, they used tweezers to pull out all the needles on me finally. sometimes i did not like it & i would squirm & wiggle, but they finally got if them all out of me! i think i heard the man say there were about 10 pulled out. i feel so much better that they do no poke me any more. they have also given me a nice bath and my fur feels so soft! i want to look and feel my best when i meet my forever family! i am going to an adoption even at the petco in queen creek this saturday! my lady will be sad to see me go, but she is going to make sure that i am going to a great family & she hopes the family has a dog that i can play with, because i love to play! if you or someone you know wants to meet me, come out to the event, or email my lady & she will set it all up! i hope to see you soon!
